These Pleated Dust Collection Filter Bags are made of 100 percent spun bonded polyester media with various coatings applied according to the application requirements. To accommodate desired filtering area, this spun bonded medium is pleated in various pleated depths and heights. Due to the surface filtration provided by spun bonded filter material, pleated bags have a far higher throughput and a lower pressure drop across the filter than standard tube type filter bags. In comparison to typical standard bags, the pleated shape provides about 3–4 times the filtration area.
Construction Of Pleated Dust Collection Filter Bag
Pleated Dust Collection Bag is widely used in manufacturing industries for dust collection.
These bags are mainly made of pleated spun bonded polyester filter media and support cage made of GI or SS is used using EPDM or natural rubber gaskets and metal caps. These pleated filter bags are ultrasonically bonded. The end caps are flexible soft sponge type made of rubber to ensure better sealing during installation and in run time.
