Mesh bags are mainly utilized for coarse filtering when chemical compatibility is a concern. Monofilament or multifilament fabric is used to make these bags. Polypropylene, polyester, and nylon are all options. These bags, like felt bags, cannot be fused to improve their appearance. They are stitched very precisely to ensure that particles of a specific micron rating are retained within them. Mesh Bags are designed to maintain a high differential pressure across the filter while also retaining a high suspended solids load.
